- Location
- Port de Sóller is a near-enclosed horseshoe bay under the Tramuntana, with a promenade around it. Sóller town, and the valley of orange groves, is three kilometres inland.
- Dining
- The promenade around the bay carries the restaurants; Sóller town has the better ones and the tram runs between them until late.
- Transit
- About 35 minutes from Palma Airport through the tunnel. Uniquely on this coast, you can arrive without a car — the vintage train from Palma to Sóller connects to the tram down to the port.

Can you get to Port de Sóller without a car?
Yes — the historic wooden train runs Palma to Sóller, and the vintage tram runs Sóller down to the port. It is the only Tramuntana base where that works.
Is the bay swimmable?
It is a sheltered horseshoe with calm water, which keeps it usable well past the exposed north-coast beaches.
How late does the season run here?
Later than the Tramuntana villages, because the port keeps a working town behind it. Several properties stay open with an indoor pool or spa.
