- Location
- Playa de Palma is a long, flat, built-up beach 10–15 minutes from the city. The Calvià side — Palmanova, Santa Ponsa — is hillier and further out, around 25 minutes.
- Dining
- The promenade carries most of it, and much of it is aimed at package tourism. Palma's restaurant scene is a short taxi away and worth the trip.
- Transit
- Playa de Palma is 10 minutes from the airport, closer than the city itself. Buses into Palma are frequent; no car needed.
