The standard rate is what that room costs on major booking platforms; the member rate is what you pay through The Travel Club. Both are per night for two guests, over a 1-night stay. Which adults-only hotels are in Los Cristianos?

Three in the town itself. Los Cristianos is the only one of south Tenerife's three resorts with a real town centre behind the beach, built around the harbour where the La Gomera ferries leave — which is why it runs quieter than Las Américas next door.

  • Best position by the harbour: Spring Arona Gran Hotel - Adults Only
  • Best gardens and La Gomera views: Boutique Hotel H10 Big Sur - Adults Only
  • Best quiet, set back from the front: Hotel Estefania Boutique Suites

What staying in Los Cristianos is actually like

Location
Los Cristianos is the oldest of the three southern resorts, built around a working harbour with the ferries to La Gomera. It has a town behind the beach, which its neighbours do not.
Dining
Genuinely mixed — the harbour end has Canarian restaurants alongside the resort dining, and prices are below Costa Adeje.
Transit
About 15 minutes from Tenerife South Airport. Walkable throughout, and the promenade runs on into Las Américas.

Concierge notes

Spring Arona Gran Hotel - Adults Only

Next to Los Cristianos beach with bay views, large pools, a sauna and a gym.

Tip: Its position by the harbour puts the town, the ferry and the beach all on foot.

Boutique Hotel H10 Big Sur - Adults Only

In tropical gardens in the middle of town, looking across to La Gomera, with a poolside bar.

Tip: The La Gomera view is the west-facing side — worth specifying for the sunsets.

Hotel Estefania Boutique Suites

Boutique suites with private terraces and mountain views, set back from the front.

Tip: Mountain rather than sea views; the trade is a quieter position and a lower rate.

Adrián Hoteles Colón Guanahaní Adultos Only

Multiple heated pools in gardens at Costa Adeje, ten minutes west along the coast.

Tip: Several heated pools, which is what keeps it comfortable in the winter months.

Hotel Riu Arecas - Adults Only

A Riu adults-only in Adeje with a pool, gym and hot tub, across 1,365 stays.

Tip: Straightforward and well-rated rather than characterful — priced accordingly.

Frequently asked questions

How many adults-only hotels are in Los Cristianos itself?

Three in live inventory. The town is smaller than the resorts west of it, so the list is short — which is also why it stays quiet.

Is Los Cristianos walkable?

Yes, and it is the only one of the three southern resorts with a real town centre to walk to. The promenade continues into Las Américas if you want the busier end.

Can you get to La Gomera from here?

Ferries leave the harbour several times a day and take under an hour — the easiest island day trip in the Canaries.
