Excellent location, right by the Gothic Quarter. The hotel and room were clean throughout. The rooftop has an amazing view. Room was small but well organized. Most of the staff (but the management) were genuinely nice and helpful.
The rooftop bar shown in the photos doesn’t actually exist. Sun beds by the pool are limited and get occupied for the entire day, so don’t count on using it. The room faces a wall directly in front, which makes it feel almost claustrophobic for the price. The bigger issue was management. I asked well in advance about a late check-out, or an alternative like booking a conference room to get some work done. This request was simply ignored. When I raised it in person, a manager (Ana or Anja, I believe) told me I could “sit in the lobby” instead — which is loud, with background music and people talking, so not workable as a space to focus. The same goes for the space next door that’s advertised as quiet — it isn’t. For a room costing over €400/night, a bit more attention from management to guests’ actual needs would go a long way. Not worth the money.
