“Sofa bed should not be marketed as such. Utilitarian place.”

Very well located if you enjoy the quieter downtown /Fido area over the bustling midtown. The staff is friendly. The hotel is a bit utilitarian. Nothing fancy. Just the basics. I liked the water machine and the free coffee in the lobby. BUT We paid for a room with a King bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed was an absolute disgrace: the mattress was a 2” think foam roll and all the springs poked right through it. It was saggy and painful and I had 3 terrible nights of no to little sleep. The drains in the room weren’t working very well either. Overall I liked the location a lot but the rest not so much. I understand NYC pricing but for a little more you can have luxury instead of … this.

Cozy room with small kitchen. Gave a homey feel and comfort to me.

Poor view and late check in. I made reservations and room wasn’t ready upon my arrival. 1hr wait for room.
