Beautiful view.
I specifically chose this property because I was looking for a peaceful and quiet location away from the busy city. Based on the hotel's location, description, and guest reviews, it appeared to be the perfect place to relax. Unfortunately, the reality was completely different. Shortly after arriving, following a long journey, we were looking forward to relaxing by the pool and recovering from our travels. Instead, we were met with extremely loud construction work taking place immediately next to the hotel, directly beside the pool and underneath our balcony. The drilling and machinery noise was so intense that even earplugs and noise-cancelling headphones did not help. I understand that the construction itself was not being carried out by the hotel. However, it was taking place literally just beyond a small line of bushes separating the hotel grounds from the construction site. This was not a minor inconvenience but a significant disruption that made it impossible to enjoy the facilities we had paid for. The most disappointing aspect was that the hotel failed to inform guests about this ongoing work before arrival. Had we known that our "peaceful retreat" would instead overlook an active construction site, we would have chosen different accommodation. We paid for a relaxing holiday but were unable to relax at all. The construction started early every morning, making it impossible to sleep in or enjoy a peaceful morning, and continued until the afternoon. As a result, we could not rest by the pool, enjoy our balcony, or even spend time in our room without constant drilling noise. We often felt we had no choice but to leave the hotel simply to escape the noise. The only solution offered by the hotel was to move us to another room. However, the alternative room faced the construction site even more directly and would not have reduced the noise in any meaningful way, making this offer ineffective.
