Service was bad. Couldn’t check in one of the rooms till 4.30pm despite being told early morning it would be 12 and then later being told check in isn’t until 3 so wouldn’t be till then which is fair but to then wait till 4.30. Rooms were not serviced until 9pm at night. Air conditioning wasn’t working and door handle in bathroom Broken had to be asked multiple times to get a solution.

“Family Reunion”
Location is one of the best, if you want to be in the center of the shopping and the theatres. Hotel Lobby has been renovated and it looks very nice. I don't usually mention staff by name, but Duty Manager Mr. Abdul-Hameed Khaliqi completely turned our stay around. We spent a miserable first night in a hot room with no AC, and the night staff did nothing to help. The next morning, Mr. Khaliqi took charge. He made sure our new room was perfectly cooled before we moved. To make up for the bad experience, he also gave us a £200 rebate and a complimentary breakfast. I highly appreciate his efforts, and his excellent service is the only reason I'm writing this instead of a terrible review.
The night manager was terrible when we complained about the room's cooling. Instead of finding a solution, he actually argued with us and said, "What can I do, it's hot." This level of unprofessionalism is shocking and completely unacceptable for a 5-star hotel. The guest rooms and bathrooms are outdated and definitely need an upgrade. However, it appears the hotel has already begun addressing this through a phased renovation program.
