Booking
How do I book a hotel with The Travel Club?
Search for your destination, select check-in and check-out dates and the number of guests, then browse available hotels. Click on a property to view room types and rates, choose a room, and complete the secure checkout. You will receive a confirmation email immediately after booking.
What is the best time to book a hotel to get the lowest price?
For popular leisure destinations, booking 4–8 weeks in advance typically yields the best rates. For business travel or last-minute trips, many hotels release discounted inventory within 48 hours of the check-in date. The Travel Club's exclusive member rates are available regardless of booking lead time.
Can I book a hotel for someone else using my account?
Yes. During checkout you can enter a different guest name. The booking confirmation will show the guest's name while the payment and account activity are tied to your account.
How do I modify or cancel my booking?
Log in to your account and navigate to 'My Bookings'. Select the booking you want to change and click 'Modify' or 'Cancel'. Cancellation policies vary by hotel and rate type — free-cancellation rates can be cancelled up to the deadline shown at booking with no charge.
What payment methods are accepted?
The Travel Club accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, and Stripe. All transactions are secured with 256-bit SSL encryption. Payments are processed in USD by default; your card issuer may apply a currency conversion fee for other currencies.

What does The Travel Club membership include?
Members receive exclusive negotiated hotel rates not available on public booking sites, priority access to limited-inventory tours and experiences, a dedicated concierge team available 24/7, and early access to flash deals on hotels and activities across 190+ countries.
Are The Travel Club rates really lower than other booking sites?
Yes. The Travel Club works directly with hotel chains and independent properties to negotiate member-only rates. If you find a lower publicly available rate within 24 hours of booking, contact support and we will match it.
Is there a free trial for membership?
New users can browse all hotel availability and compare member rates versus public rates without a subscription. A membership plan is required to complete checkout at member pricing.

How many hotels are available on The Travel Club?
The Travel Club provides access to over 1 million hotels and accommodations in 190+ countries, from budget guesthouses to luxury five-star resorts, powered by the LiteAPI global hotel inventory.
Do hotels on The Travel Club include breakfast?
Meal-plan inclusions depend on the specific hotel and rate selected. Each hotel listing shows the inclusions clearly on the room detail page — look for 'Breakfast Included' or 'All-Inclusive' tags when searching.
Can I filter hotels by amenities such as pool, gym, or pet-friendly?
Yes. The search results page includes filters for amenities, star rating, price range, guest rating, and cancellation policy. Use these filters to narrow results to properties that match your requirements.
Are hotel prices shown per room or per person?
All hotel prices displayed on The Travel Club are per room per night, including applicable taxes and fees, unless explicitly stated otherwise on the checkout page.

What types of tours and activities can I book?
The Travel Club offers skip-the-line museum and attraction tickets, private guided city tours, food and wine experiences, adventure activities, day trips to nearby destinations, sunset cruises, cooking classes, and cultural immersion tours across hundreds of cities worldwide.
How far in advance should I book tours and activities?
Popular experiences at top attractions (Colosseum, Sagrada Família, Louvre) sell out weeks in advance, especially in peak season. We recommend booking at least 2 weeks ahead. Last-minute availability does exist for many activities — check the listing for real-time availability.
Are tours available for private groups?
Yes. Many experiences offer a private group option during checkout. Private tours are ideal for families, corporate groups, or travellers who prefer a customised itinerary. Pricing for private groups is shown separately on the experience listing page.
Cancellations & Refunds
What is the cancellation policy for hotels?
Cancellation terms are set by each hotel and rate type. Free-cancellation rates allow cancellation up to the deadline (typically 24–48 hours before check-in) with a full refund. Non-refundable rates are cheaper but cannot be refunded after booking. The policy is always displayed before payment.
How long does a hotel refund take to appear in my account?
Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days of cancellation approval. Depending on your bank or card issuer, the credit may take an additional 3–7 business days to appear on your statement.
What happens if a hotel cancels my booking?
In the rare event a hotel cancels a confirmed booking, The Travel Club will immediately notify you by email and provide equivalent alternative accommodation at no extra charge, or issue a full refund if no suitable alternative is available.
Can I get a refund if I cut my stay short?
Early checkout refunds depend on the hotel's policy. For free-cancellation bookings, some hotels offer partial refunds for unused nights — contact our concierge team as soon as you decide to check out early and we will negotiate on your behalf.

How do I create an account with The Travel Club?
Click 'Sign Up' in the top navigation and register with your email address or continue with Google. Verify your email address via the confirmation link sent to your inbox and you are ready to book.
Is my personal and payment data secure?
Yes. The Travel Club uses HTTPS with TLS 1.3 encryption for all data in transit. Payment information is processed by PCI-DSS-compliant payment processors (Stripe and PayPal) and is never stored on our servers. Account passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt.
Can I use The Travel Club without creating an account?
You can browse hotel availability and view prices without an account. To complete a booking at member rates, an account and active membership are required.

Does The Travel Club support group travel for 10+ people?
Yes. For groups of 10 or more travellers, contact our dedicated groups team for negotiated group rates, coordinated room blocks, and private transfers. Group enquiries typically receive a response within 24 hours.
Does The Travel Club offer travel insurance?
Travel insurance is not currently included in membership but can be purchased as an add-on during checkout for select itineraries. We partner with accredited travel insurance providers to offer trip cancellation, medical, and baggage protection.
