“Great hotel in an out of town location”

This hotel is amazing; more marble than you can shake a stick at; manicured grounds and electric gates and security - just wow. A 10 min walk to the nearest Metro (Cornelia); and you’re into the centre of Rome and the attractions within 20mins. The rooms are basic with a mini fridge, tea/coffee, tv etc. a rain head shower but poor water pressure (still a nice shower though). Breakfast is continental style with all you can eat - great choice, great value. There’s even a ‘hooverbot’ to keep you entertained on the ground floor. The grounds are luscious and impeccably manicured; the reception is friendly and modern. This is a really great hotel. Great value for money. The downsides - electric security gates you have to buzz to get back in after partying in Rome; and the hotel ‘TH Roma’ nobody knows - be sure to state Carpegna palace.

“Missing the basics”

The area surrounding the hotel isn’t great, but when you walked up the drive, there was optimism. The main bulk of the hotel looks like a 5 star hotel. We managed to check in early and dropped our stuff off. The floor our room was on looks nothing compared to the rest of the hotel. The room wasn’t as it was portrayed on the website (On The Beach) and was very basic. For a country that takes pride from its coffee, none was offered in the room, which I found strange. The bathroom was a decent size, but the shower was so small, you couldn’t turn around inside it without hitting the doors. We had food and drinks in the outside bar on the first night, which was great. Excellent service from the bar staff. Fast forward towards the end of the trip, we checked out at normal time and the hotel allowed us to leave our luggage with them until the end of the day for our flight. They never asked if we enjoyed our stay, just if we had used the mini bar. We had food again in the outside bar. This time, the pizzas we ordered were awful. The base was so hard, it was like biting into a biscuit. The food provided by the hotel was over priced for what it was. Carbonara in the city centre was around €10, yet the hotel was charging €24. This was a disappointing end to our stay in the hotel.

Molto soddisfatti soprattutto per la gentilezza e professionalita' durante la colazione ed in particolare un ringraziamento alla signora con i capelli lunghi grigi che oltre a fare un'ottimo cappuccino ha una pazienza enorme. Ormai siamo regolari e lo notiamo spesso.

“Very nice”

It was very fancy looking and classic so definitely felt like I was in Italy it was peaceful and about 20-25 min away from the city so I’d say it was far, but I only stayed for the night if you have a car definitely recommend
