“Apartment with lagoon/lake view”
Nice view to the lagoon / lake. Located next to a nice beach, and on walking distance from Playa Delfines, one of the best beaches in the Zona Hotelera. Swimming pool was ok, although a bit small. Enough space for parking, if renting a car. Two small grocery stores on walking distance. Access to a small roof terrace was included, and offered nice sunset views. The host was very helpful and nice. The apartment was kept clean.
A bit far from restaurants. There were practically only 2 you could walk to, one in the compound (for the hotel's all-inclusive guests, so pretty bad) and one about 10 minute walk away. Uber eats works, so we ended up using that a lot. The apartment was a bit run down (but clean) and quite small. Balcony was full of dove crap, so it was practically unusable.

“Beautiful, comfortable unit, with a more amazing host”
The host, Michelle. Is the highlight followed by the beautiful units she hosts. From the get go, Michelle provided updates. She also upgraded our rooms even though we were only there for our last night in Cancun, without asking and with an amazing ocean view. We were able to walk right in and the keys were already in the unit as Berta, the manager on site, had the rooms open for us. Michelle even let us check in before 10 am as we had to depart the other villa we rented for the long weekend at the same property and needed one extra day that wasn’t available. So the transition was very easy and Michelle very accommodating. Her units are all conveniently located together so a group of people can easily be together and have their own space too. I would stay here again purely because of Michelle and her units too are the cleanest and most comfortable and she has made them very modern and bright. I enjoyed the small resort field instead of the large hotel with no ambience. This place has character. It is easy to get to the beach and to the pool into your room once you learn the best route from your room as this place has an interesting layout the resort it is Michelle made it easy that we didn’t even have to go to the front desk, but rather just to our unit and to the pool and anywhere else who wanted to go the place was not crowded and if you wanted to cook or eat in every night, there’s a full side refrigerator and while it equipped kitchen to do so. The patio balcony from the main bedroom is beautiful.
The security at the front gates. I understand that Mexico and they have to be really careful about who’s coming and going, but after a few days where the people know who you are, and they’re asking for ID and the QR code to get in and to get out, it became very ridiculous. I won’t get into the details, but definitely was a minor frustration on some days with the inconsistency. Also, this place has many stairs and is a labyrinth getting to in front of your room and or to the pool depending upon where your room is located. The resort has a nice pool and has a smaller one at the very southern end of the hotel zone, so you are close to the airport and far away from all of the buzz and normal party mentality of Cancun. For me I enjoyed this more, because it was just a $20 Uber ride to downtown Cancun. The restaurant on site is not good so all the place of Michele‘s is amazing to stay, if you don’t cook your own food, which Michele‘s place has a full kitchen with all of the supplies to cook, then you will have to Uber. There is not much that is within walking distance of this place. So you must keep that in mind.
