Sleep&Fly

Having visited Barcelona half a dozen times before, sightseeing wasn’t on the agenda for this stay. We arrived from Paros via Athens at around 1:30am, ahead of boarding the Celebrity Xcel at 11:30am that morning. With no need for hotel facilities or amenities, Sleep&Fly was the obvious choice for some much-needed rest without venturing into the city at that hour. The room was extremely small and particularly tight for two people. We also found it quite expensive for such a short stay, although I suppose that’s convenience coming at a cost. Breakfast was included and simple, but perfectly adequate before heading off to embark on our cruise. For our circumstances, Sleep&Fly served its purpose perfectly: a convenient place to get a few hours of much-needed sleep before heading to the cruise terminal.

Emplacement stratégique : L'accès direct à la porte de sécurité en face de l'hôtel permet de rejoindre n'importe quelle porte du Terminal 1 en un temps record (comptez 15 minutes pour arriver à la porte B53). Service matinal : Le buffet petit-déjeuner en libre-service dès 4h30 est un vrai atout pour les départs tôt. Service client : Personnel très sympathique, accueillant et de bon conseil. Petites attentions : Eau plate et café offerts à volonté dans la chambre.

Politique tarifaire : Absence d'option "à l'heure" sur Booking ; l'obligation de payer une nuit complète est dommage pour des escales courtes (5h dans mon cas). Confort nocturne : Sensibilité aux vibrations dues aux décollages et nuisances lumineuses (les témoins lumineux de la machine à café et du téléphone sont beaucoup trop brillants).
