“Relaxing Stay at the Silverton Lodge and Casino”

I booked 3 nights at the Silverton Casino Lodge. Checking was a breeze. Parking, and, valet are free and convenient. The room was a little warm when we arrived, but we adjusted the temperature and the cooled down in about 30 minutes. The average outside temperature in Las Vegas that week was about 110. Loved the room decor. The bed was very comfortable. The bedding was just right; fluffy comforter, clean fresh sheets and big pillows. Coffee maker was in the armoire, which had an ironing board and iron, plenty of hangers a space to put clothes. There were 3 small drawers. There was a luggage rack, too. The desk had a very comfortable rolling chair that moved easily across the carpet. There were 3 more deep, large drawers which gave a long counter top for spreading out. Deep comfy chair near an outlet. The bathroom was clean and the towels are soft and fluffy. Could have used more outlets, but I travel with my own extension cord for my CPAP so I was okay. We ate at the Sundance Grill and the Loco Moco was delicious. The service was great. I forgot to use my food credit to pay for our meal. Dang it! We went to the casino, which is a short walk from the lodge rooms. Played the old school slots and the new flashy slots. Husband and son played the tables. Our son used the workout room twice, which was clean and adequate, the pool, and the hot tub. He enjoyed the amenities. We had a great time and will come back to Silverton during our next visit. We usually got to Las Vegas 3 to 4 times a year, but we’ve been cruising alot over the last 18 months, so we missed our Las Vegas time. Giving Silverton a 10. Shirley

“Silverton hotel”

This used to be my go to place - minimum once a month. I will not be going back due to the rude receptionist. My family and I spend way too much money at this hotel to be treated that way. There was a mix up with the rooms, which wasn’t the problem at all. It was the dismissal and awful treatment from the hotel staff. Will no longer recommend or be staying here.

I have stayed at the Silverton several times on "girls trips" and have never been disappointed! This time was a two night stay with my spouse and now he can't wait to return. The woman who checked us in (we were early) let us know that our room was not ready, but she could put us in a different room. She did tell us it was far from the elevators, but that was not an issue for us (but some people might not be OK with it). The bartenders were great! We loved the food at Mi Casa Cantina, it is a do not miss!
