Sheraton Gateway Los Angeles Hotel

I have no idea why the ratings are so low...? The location is great - several good family-run restaurants within a few mins walk, free shuttle to the airport, etc. It's great for an overnight (or 2) stop. The pool is lovely and heats up to a very pleasant temperature by early afternoon. The gym is also very good. Lively bar. Rooms: typical comfy American style - 2 big beds with everything you need. Air-conditioned. Can hear some doors slam from other rooms once in a while, but rally not bad. I stayed here 3 times during August. Would return again if laying over at LAX.

They charge extra for early check-in or late checkout. Reasonable considering it's an airport hotel, but I don't have to like it :) At least they offer different fees for number of hours early/late - so it is flexible.

Excelente ubicación, además cuenta con transporte gratuito para el aeropuerto LAX, muy buena atención del personal, lo recomiendo 100%

“Bon hôtel pour une courte étape en transit”

Hôtel à proximité de l'aéroport. Navette gratuite pour l'aéroport toutes les 20 minutes. Pratique pour récupérer quelques heures lors d'une escale à LA. Avec Air France, les bagages suivent jusqu'à Papeete. Il est donc inutile de les récupérer à LA. Quelques heures de repos à l'hôtel pour dormir (petite sieste) permet d'atténuer un peu le décalage horaire. Présence d'une belle piscine pour se détendre avant de repartir.

Hôtel un peu vieillot, mais suffisant pour une courte escale. La chambre n'est théoriquement disponible qu'à partir de 16H mais la réception nous l'a laissée à partir de 14H.
