Residence Inn MCO Airport This hotel needs work Marriott Lifetime Platinum staying in hotels around the world. I always give 4 and 5 stars as it’s important to validate good experiences. This one is not up to the Marriott brand. One elevator out of order. The backup was having serious problems going up and down at 10:00 at night - basically, not working either. Serious issue when many guests are arriving late, tired from flights, with luggage and not being able to use elevator. Carried heavy bags up 3 flights of stairs. HVAC in room 316 had serious issues with return duct. Noise close to deafening when unit turns on and as long as it runs. Made for a difficult night’s sleep. In the morning, I measured the noise at close to 60 decibels on an app. Definitely in need of regular service. There are close to ten Marriott properties near MCO airport. Will choose a different one next time. Do not recommend.

The room was spacious and clean with nice kitchen and sitting areas.

The bed linens had a very strong odor, a combination of bleach and the fungicide sometimes applied after a flood occurance. It kept me from sleeping comfortably and my face was irritated enough to try to sleep with my pillow covered with a tee shirt. Perhaps an automatic second rinse request from their laundry service would help.

Clean and comfortable the staff was nice.

Elevators were not working we had to walk up a flight of stairs with our suitcases. We weren't told about the elevators until after we checked in not very nice.
