“Extremely disappointing- not as advertised”

Absolutely not worth the money, unbelievably disappointing and completely not as advertised. Equivalent to a premier inn at an extremely inflated price. I hope an offer for £550 for two nights instead of £750. I’d say it is worth £300 purely for location. No signposting, clinical, corridors feel like a travel-lodge with zero signposting to rooms. Feeling of disappointment as soon as you get the shabby entrance. Right on the main road so doesn’t have the clerkenwell village feel it mentions on the website and constant traffic noise. Hotel talks about design and personality but completely lacking in both. Everything looks cheap and made of mdf. Fine if you’re paying £150 a night, not £260 - or god forbid, the £370 full price per night.

“Comfortable and conveniently located”

My wife and I spent 6 nights at this hotel. It was well located near the Farringdon Tube station (walking distance) which is on the Elizabeth line - so a direct link from Heathrow Airport with no changes! The various tube lines that service Farringdon station gives one good travel options. The hotel is clean and comfortable. Rooms are like most Lindon hotel rooms - small and functional. The hotel staff are very friendly and service oriented. The adjoining Gazette restaurant that serves the daily breakfast is excellent. If anything you over eat at breakfast - so be careful! The service staff are extremely customer service oriented. I would like to single out two staff at Gazette that made our stay memorable: Rahat and Brahmina. Bravo and thank you to them!

“Just what was needed for a week-end stay”

Definitely will return to this conveniently located hotel. Reception staff were impeccably well mannered and presented. 24/7 concierge, comfortable room, quiet despite being in the middle of London, no frills but what was available was very well thought through including superb shower much better than home, gowns, lights which all worked, clean to spotless standard. Perhaps the option of a hard pillow would have been welcome but the mattress was a dream to sleep on and the air conditioning efficient. Well done.
