“A brilliant slice of NY right in the heart of the art deco section of Manhattan.”
The concept is well realized, with books available all throughout the hotel. I thought the place was very tastefully decorated and really gives that old school New York vibe, and you cannot fault the location, just a street away from Grand Central station. There were some really lovely members of staff there too.
It was a shame that at this point there was scaffolding all around the building blocking the views from the windows, but it is what it is. I admittedly also found the reception there quite cold and unwelcoming. But all that said, there were some really fantastic staff too in other areas who more than made up for it.
