“Old-school hotel but fine for a couple of nights”
The location is pretty good and so is the breakfast.
The single room is very small, there is simply too much furniture for such a small space inside. The receptionists are not super easy to communicate with, it felt like they don’t care are busy with their own stuff more

“I had the worst hotel experience in here! WORST!”
I liked nothing about this hotel. Based on the pictures we thought it was going to be beautiful. But I hated everything. Hotel itself is very old, i felt a horrible smell in the room. The Bathroom was very very old, I didn't even want to touch to the sink. It was way too far from the center specially taking into consideration that Milan itself is not crazy walkable.
But the worst part was the breakfast. First day we went downstairs to have breakfast at 7:20 ( breakfast starts at 7am) there was almost nothing to eat. But whatever they had was horrible. Even worse, I chose a regular scrambled eggs, I had two bites and felt horrible. Didn't like the taste, either eggs were not fresh egg or the oil was wrong. But then I got hives and ended up taking alegra for 10 days. Anyway, my advise never go to this hotel. Ever. Starting next day, we had to have breakfast outside even though we paid for breakfast...

Once you figure out the transit system from the train station, getting here is easy and the location is quite good for a solo traveller. The breakfast was great, excellent dining room and very friendly and accommodating staff, as well as a lot of hot and cold options - they will take your coffee order and bring to you. There's also a beautiful outdoor patio!
The single room was a bit too small for me, the kind where the room only fits the bed with a bit of room to walk around it, I had to lift my suitcase over the bed to get it next to the window where I could open it. My view was over a construction pit. The bathroom also felt cramped as I am a tall person. The AC did not really work well, I kept it set to 18 the whole time and didn't feel the room cool down, I would still sweat while moving around and getting ready. I also don't really like when hotels don't have secure wi-fi networks, that is an oversight that can be a huge security issue.
