Hotel Santa Marta Suites

“Enjoyable”

Fantastic location, nice restaurant for breakfast. Very helpful staff.

Our room was on the 5th floor next to the stairs to the rooftop. Noise from people coming and going and the catering was disturbing at times.

“Good location, but not at all 4-star experience!”

The hotel is very well located, right in the city center, and the building itself has a lot of charm and character. It seems to be a beautiful old building, possibly a former pharmacy, with interesting vintage furniture. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was a big plus, especially with temperatures around 35°C throughout all six days of our stay.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness was disappointing. There was a lot of dust in the rooms, and the old furniture was not properly cleaned. We also discovered ants under an old cupboard, and unfortunately some ended up in our luggage. We had to ask reception on a couple of days to have the room cleaned before 14:00, as it was consistently being cleaned around 15:00 and seemed to be done in a hurry. Overall, the cleaning felt very superficial, which is not what we would expect from a 4-star hotel. The breakfast was another major disappointment. Despite having paid quite a lot for breakfast to be included, the choice was extremely limited: essentially a croissant and a sandwich or omelette, with tea and bread, butter or jam. There was no fruit or vegetables at all. In fact, on three of the six mornings, we chose to have breakfast at a nearby café instead.

Lovely faded glamour style in the suite. Spacious, clean and comfortable.

Établissement vieillissant, meubles vieux , douche avec des joints mal fait et mélangeur cassé Chambre quasiment noire.! Obligé de débranché le frigo pour branché la cafetière Les fenêtres donnant sur la cage d’ascenseur. Je ne sais pas où ils ont été cherché l’appellation « Suite «  sûrement dans leur imaginaire Excessivement cher pour la Prestation offerte
