“Excellent breakfast and breakfast room.”
So I promised this review a long time ago. This is an inexpensive, acceptable hotel right in the heart of Madrid, and within an easy walk to everywhere you might want to go. What makes this place truly special is the breakfast room overlooking the Gran Via. I'd get there right at 7 am, and watch the sun rise over the city, glowing up the buildings, as the city woke up and went to work. The coffee with sweet orange peel was delicious, and the hotel offers everything you could possibly want for a complete breakfast. All the staff were super nice, from the manager, to the many young women who made sure all the food was fully stocked and available. I'd stay here again for the morning experience alone.
