“Excellent facilities, but disappointing reservation experience.”
The hotel itself has many positive aspects. The rooms are spacious, modern, and comfortable, with everything needed for a pleasant stay. The breakfast was good with a nice selection, and the airport shuttle service was very convenient and helpful. The property is well maintained, and overall it is a comfortable place to stay.
We had a difficult experience with our reservation, although the issue was eventually resolved. Our confirmed Booking.com reservation was for a Studio with two double beds. Due to a problem with the credit card pre-authorization process, the hotel informed us upon arrival that the original reservation could not be used, even though the reservation was still showing as completed in Booking.com. Travelling with an 8-year-old child, arriving late in the evening, this was a very stressful situation. We had to accept a different room type (a Studio with one double bed) at the hotel. I would like to thank the General Manager for reviewing the situation afterwards and arranging the refund of the original charge. The final resolution was handled professionally. My main recommendation for the hotel would be to improve communication regarding payment authorization issues, so guests do not experience this kind of uncertainty upon arrival.
