Holiday Inn Express - Times Square by IHG

Terrible experience. I would NOT recommend this place. I paid around $700 for my stay, and the elevator was not working. I was forced to walk up 20 FLOORS using the stairs, even though I have knee problems. It was extremely painful, exhausting, and completely unacceptable. For the amount of money I paid, I expected a safe and comfortable stay. Instead, this became one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. To make things worse, I had to complain and insist before any compensation was offered. A guest should never have to go through something like this, especially after paying this much. Very disappointing experience. I would never stay here again.

“A waste of my money and ruined my vacation”

I liked that the breakfast was tasty but needed a bit more variety.

The manager that greeted me was very snobbish and spoke in condescending manner. Maybe she looked at me as unimportant. She was not welcoming even to other guests. I would recommend that she be placed somewhere else not at the front desk to greet hotel guests. The condition of the hotel was very very disappointing. There was only one elevator and there were long delays for a hotel that has 25 plus floors. For the five days I stayed it wasn’t repaired. I sure the stairs to get to my room. The hotel room was very small for a brand as Holiday Inn . I expected something with more room. It was run down and used. This place should close down and taken off your recommendations as a place to stay in Manhattan. The lobby is plain with nothing of class. There was no services which regular hotels offer. It was just disappointing.

tres bien situé, chambre petite mais confortable et propre. les dejeuner sont correct.

semble etre un hotel correct sans luxe mais parfait un 3 jours en famille cependant un bris d ascenseur depuis 5 jours nous obligeant a des pertes de temps dans des files de gens interminable qui attentent plus de 15 voir 30 min au rez d chaussé pour simplement me rendre a ma chambre du 29ieme etages. idem de ma chambre pour descendre au lobby. j ai tenté d appeler a plusieurs reprises le lobby pour qu il m envoi l ascenseur a mon etage mais il répondait au telephone qu 1 fois sur 3 ce qui m obligeait a descendre les 29 etages par les marches malgré mon operation au genoux. un bris peut arriver mais qu il perdure depuis 5 jours et je n ai jamais vu d ouvrier sur place pour le reparer. de plus, la douche de ma salle de bain n avait pas de rideau de douche. meme en faisant attention, dès qu une douche etait prise l eau éclaboussait partout , je me devais de tout essuyer du mur au plancher et de la toilette a la vanité apres chaque douche
