My friend and I came there because my friend had to have surgery at Norman hospital. Rooms was great. Everything looked great and clean. First night we went to dinner, the food was terrific and the presentation was great. And delicious. The waiter gave us comfort about the hospital, said it was very successful. The breakfast before we headed back to the airport was great. Conway helped me to get my breakfast because I had to walk with a cane.. then we went up to get our bags. Conway came out of the restaurant and helped us with our bags to the Uber. He flagged the Uber to where we were, and put the bags in the Uber. You have a very helpful and friendly staff..We thank you for such a pleasant stay..

“Poor Customer Service”

As a Hilton Honors Silver member of over 10 years, I expect a baseline level of professional courtesy when reaching out for routine assistance. Unfortunately, my recent attempt to get a simple email copy of a receipt resulted in a highly disappointing breakdown in basic customer service. When my call was answered, the representative did not introduce themselves. When I requested my receipt, they were immediately combative, stating in an unpleasant and defensive tone that they could not provide it. When I pointed out their unprofessionalism and poor attitude, instead of apologizing or correcting their behavior, the representative actually argued back and accused me of being the one with the attitude. Following this entirely unacceptable exchange, I was placed on hold for ten minutes before the line disconnected entirely. I called back and asked to speak with a manager. While the manager was ultimately able to locate and email the receipt, the rest of the interaction fell short. Like the first representative, the manager did not introduce himself upon answering. Furthermore, when I explained the rude behavior, the accusation made against me, and the disconnected line, his only response was a dismissive "sorry," with no further acknowledgment of the service failure. For a brand of Hilton's caliber, there needs to be a much higher standard of telephone etiquette and conflict resolution. Frontline staff and managers alike should always introduce themselves by name when answering calls to establish accountability. Furthermore, a customer requesting a basic receipt should never be met with an argument, and staff should never deflect by accusing a guest of having an attitude when their own professionalism is questioned. Finally, when a long-term member reports an actively hostile interaction with staff, a disengaged, one-word apology from management is simply not an adequate form of service recovery.
