Excellent location just off 5th Ave. A short walk up to Central Park and across to the madness that is Times Square. Easy access to buses and the subway. A short walk to Grand Central Station. We also were lucky enough to be upgraded to a suite - meaning we had a large sofa, a 4-person dining table and extra cupboard space in addition to the normal hotel room. This meant our two week stay was especially comfortable.

The hotel doesn't offer any food or drink/minibar to hotel guests - though there are delis and bodegas nearby where you can get just about any type of food. We lost aircon one night - but they fixed that the next day.

The central location is great, although very noisy. The vale parking staff were very nice and helpful The linens and shower robes were amazing

The rooms are VERY small. There is a long narrow corridor and then a very small room, which is mostly the bed. You can hardly move around. . We requested a bigger room because my husband is in a wheelchair and could hardly move in the room. They gave us the exact same room, but without furniture, so it seemed a little bigger. Only now, we had to put all our things on the floor because there was only one chair near the built in desk. And the front desk staff were very minimal in their attitude. No extra smiles or a look up to say hello when you enter the hotel, at any time.
