Extremely friendly and helpful receptionist at check-in. Superb breakfast with daily changes of both the hot and cold foods, well laid out breakfast area and plenty of room to move around the buffet. The hotel had a secondary lobby area around the bar which acted as a large relaxation area with plenty of designer sofas and chairs. The room was well decorated and fresh. House maintenance made a good job of cleaning the room and replenishing items. Water pressure was good and constant hot water. The hotel was in the historic centre and easy access to all the sites and attractions.
The swimming pool is no bigger than a good sized bedroom and for a hotel of that capacity not really adequate especially when certain guests hog the 6 sun loungers and 2 deck chairs. The 4 person lift is also used by staff for cleaning and maintenance so wait time can be a bit long.
