Location was great.
The air conditioner didn’t stay on all night. It was motion activated. Even though I kept the fan running all night on AC. The nights got really stuffy. I had to stand up and move around to activate. Also the toilet was super low to the ground. Was strange.

“Fantastic stay”
Fantastic stay at this unique and beautiful property. Service was exemplary. Also, the restaurant, Felice, serves delicious food in a charming setting. Great bar service as well. From the bell staff, front desk to the cleaning crew, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this hotel.

“Excellent service but the A/C needs improvement”
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The customer service was excellent from beginning to end. We were welcomed with complimentary champagne and water, received a room upgrade through Amex Platinum, and the staff was consistently friendly and accommodating. Our biggest issue was the air conditioning. The rooms use window units with motion-activated thermostats, so the A/C shuts off when there is no movement—including while you’re sleeping. I woke up during the night extremely hot and had to get up for the A/C to turn back on. This is definitely something to be aware of when visiting during very hot or cold weather. Our first room also had a strong mildew/sewer smell coming from the bathroom. Once we reported it, the staff immediately offered to move us, and our second room was larger and even nicer. Again, the service was 10/10. We enjoyed breakfast both mornings, although there wasn't a regular breakfast menu provided, so ordering additional items came with a little sticker shock—two side orders of eggs were $11 each. The gym facilities are also quite small, with only a couple of machines on each of three floors. The location was convenient to the train (about a five-minute walk), complimentary water was always available, and the Amex benefits, including breakfast, late checkout, and a $100 hotel credit, were a nice bonus. Despite a few drawbacks, we enjoyed our stay and the exceptional staff really made the difference.
