Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown

I'd describe the hotel as okay, but at this price, I expected a "wow" factor. I'd previously stayed at a Four Seasons in Taormina, Italy, and expected something similar. The hotel was okay, but nothing more. They offered us a car to take us somewhere, but even though we were there for six days, it was always booked. I went to the wellness center, but to use the sauna, I had to pay extra and schedule an appointment. Small things, but they left a bad taste in my mouth.

Absolutely Beautiful Property & Outstanding Four Seasons Service We spent a wonderful week at the Four Seasons Downtown New York with our children, and the experience was exceptional. The concierge team deserves a special mention — the best concierge service we have experienced so far this year! Nothing was ever left unresolved, and every request was handled efficiently and with genuine care. The rooms are beautiful, modern and extremely comfortable, with thoughtful daily treats and little surprises for our children. The Frédéric Malle bathroom amenities are a beautiful luxury touch, and we particularly appreciated the children’s amenities as well. Even details such as the excellent shower pressure and intelligent bathroom design show the level of thought that went into the property. The gym is extremely well equipped and the spa is excellent. The steakhouse downstairs is very, very good, while breakfast is an absolute must. The morning and evening hostesses were incredibly friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home every day. The reception and public areas are beautiful, but ultimately it is the people who make this hotel special. Whatever you may need, it is handled in the signature Four Seasons manner — professionally, warmly and with a solution always found. A true team throughout the entire property. We had a fantastic week and left with wonderful memories. Thank you to everyone who made our family stay so special. We will definitely return!
