“Lovely hotel, but the whole area is a bit worn out already and pricy.”

Lovely boho style rooms and the hotel. The design of the hotel is quite special- eco and a bit rustic but with modern amenities. It is located completely on the sand as most other Tulum seaside hotels. The staff does a great job to maintain it.

The system what is included in the rate (coffee etc) for breakfast and what is not is a bit confusing at the hotel. It was not the hotel’s fault but as it was a sargassum season, we could not go swimming. Sadly, it affected the charm of the hotel. Also many other properties and hotels around it are neglected and left behind, just as if people have run away from a sinking ship. That is very weird. Maybe Tulum is losing its charm? And the prices are still crazy high there!

Le calme et la propreté des lieux. Établissement design doté d’un immense confort. La proximité avec l’une des plus belles plages de l’île est un luxe supplémentaire.

Les chambres sont très belles, spacieuses, confortables, parfaitement propres et décorées avec beaucoup de goût. L’emplacement en bord de mer est agréable. Le personnel du bar, du restaurant et de la plage a toujours été sympathique, accueillant et professionnel.

Mon principal point négatif concerne cependant le manque de transparence concernant certains frais. Malgré une réservation indiquant que le montant total était payé avec la mention « Taxes et frais compris », une préautorisation supplémentaire de 1 982,64 MXN m’a été demandée à l’arrivée, avec des explications qui ont varié au cours de mon séjour. Malgré plusieurs demandes, je n’ai jamais reçu les justificatifs détaillés ni les références légales annoncées. Même après l’intervention du service client de Booking.com, l’établissement n’a pas répondu à mes demandes. La préautorisation a finalement été annulée, mais cette gestion a malheureusement terni une expérience qui aurait pu être très agréable.
