“Gorgeous hotel, an oasis in Central Lisbon”

We spent a fabulous few days at this simply beautiful hotel. We had a room with a terrace (with loungers) and a fantastic view of Lisbon and the castle. The room was large, and comfortable. Breakfast was also fantastic with fresh juices, fresh fruit and patisserie from the owners bakery. The heated pool is larger than others in Lisbon and very much appreciated after a day of sightseeing. Lots of lovely touches such as the honesty bar, coffee and cake on tap etc. The majority of the staff were lovely. I could go on and on. Location is perfect although once one enters the courtyard, it is very tranquil and peaceful. A couple of minor issues re cleaning which I hope will have been dealt with by the time we return.
