Winterset

“The room was fine. My card being “stolen” was disappointing to say the least.”

The size of the room was fine. I liked that it had a mini kitchen area.

The bathroom was pretty small and could be updated. I am almost certain that the worker stole my credit card. I gave it to him for payment and then he acted like he didn’t have it and I didn’t give it to him. He had all 3 of the people I was with search every inch of the place. I was very adamant about knowing I gave it to him and had stated I was canceling card. We went to room. About 5-10 minutes later the guy appeared and miraculously found my card on the counter. I know that isn’t true. He got nervous after my reaction to the situation.

It was near the beach.

We did not have hot water in the room. No one was ever in the office. We had to wait outside nearly 30mins in the heat to check in. That is after calling the property & telling them we were waiting.

Nos terminamos quedando en el hotel Noth Beach, de la misma cadena a un par de cuadras de Winterset. Muy lindo lugar a 1 cuadra de la playa, todo super limpio y muy comodo, volveremos!

“Motel staff assisted us with going to a Sister hotel due to an air-conditioning unit not working in our room and they we”

Our air-conditioning unit did not work so they had us moved to a Sister hotel which worked out for us. Staff was kind and willing to help on a busy weekend during spring break.
