“Very disappointing experience – definitely not recommended for families”
The location is good, and the reception staff seemed okay at first, but the policy and the way we were treated ruined our vacation. We will definitely not recommend this hotel to families.
Very disappointing experience, We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as a family of 6, booking 2 family rooms. While the location of the hotel was very good, our overall experience was highly disappointing due to bizarre policies and unacceptable behavior from the staff. We booked two family rooms for 6 people, including breakfast. The hotel knew we had 4 children (not babies). Upon arrival, we found one room with a double bed and the other with two single beds. When I called reception to ask for the extra beds to be set-up, they told us it would cost an extra fee. What did they expect? for our children to sleep in bed with us? Why should we pay extra when we explicitly booked and paid for 6 people? This makes absolutely no sense. We ended up having 3 kids sleep in one double bed and 1 child sleep on the sofa. Just 30 minutes after checking in, the lobby called to ask if someone was running or jumping in our room (no one was). 15 minutes later, there was a knock on our door checking to see if there was jumping or running and that we should please keep quiet. No one was running, and we do not have toddlers. The next night, at 12:05 AM, while we were already asleep, we were woken up by a knock on the door. A staff member claimed she "happened to be passing by" in the hallway and heard noise. This is outrageous. We were on vacation, not in a military camp. When we complained to the duty manager the following morning, all we got was a plane un sympathetic "sorry." Absolutely nothing was done to make up for waking us up past midnight or for the constant harassment.
