“A great value hotel in London - for an O2 event”
We loved our stay at the Ibis Canning Town. We were going to an event at the O2 and had been recommended this place to stay. The hotel itself was very convenient for the tube station, the room was perfect for our needs, the breakfast was great. A bonus was that we could walk 15/20 mins to the docklands area and catch the gondola across the river to the O2 - make sure you tell them you have tickets for an event there. Sadly the gondola was not still running at the time the concert finished so we had to come back by tube. And particularly sadly we had to join the very long queue for the tube station at the O2 even though we wanted to do just one stop in the opposite direction to most of the other hundreds of people.
