“Perfect Hotel to explore Lisbon”
My family and I stayed here for 7 nights and really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was perfectly located to explore all of lisbon with the metro only a 5 minute walk away and downtown lisbon 20-30 depending on your pace. As other reviews have commented, the breakfast is phenomenal, really great selection of produce and something for all tastes. On our arrival to the hotel we met Nedia who was guest relations manager and she is a perfect host. We saw Nedia most days and she would always stop to make conversation and check in with us to see how we were doing and if we needed anything extra to enhance our stay. Thank you Nedia for making our city break perfect. The Bar The bar at the hotel is great, good selection and good cocktail knowledge. Special mention to Santos who made the perfect Margarita and was kind and courteous to my family and I, loved chatting about the football with him. Obrigado Santos The Rooms We had a joining room as had our 2 boys with us, we all found the rooms to be clean with comfortable beds, hot shower, plenty of space and although we were road side and on floor 2, we hardly noticed any traffic noise and slept very well during our stay. The Pool and Pool bar Good size pool, decent amount of sunbeds, you do need to get down early in the morning to grab one, but that's fine. An outdoor pool in a busy city centre is very much an added bonus and great addition to the hotel, kids loved the pool. The pool bar is also great, good service and good snacks..try the ham and cheese toastie...delicious Free 1 hour Spa Perfect way to spend an hour with family, really cool swim spa/hot tub, sauna, steam room etc Overall the hotel with its decor and facilities could do with some modernisation and improvements however the people who work here are what make it 5* for me. My family and I had a great stay, managed to explore lisbon and its historical landmarks, all the surrounding areas and the Iberostar Selection Lisboa for us was the perfect base to do just that. We would definitely come back.
