The reception staff were extremely helpful and sympathetic. They told me that the fraud was linked to the hotel, that other guests had experienced similar incidents, and that the hotel had even had its systems checked as a result. They genuinely tried to help me. Unfortunately, the hotel management later took a completely different position, denied any responsibility and redirected the matter to Booking.com.

Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by a serious fraud connected to my reservation, in which the scammers had access to non-public booking details including my name, phone number, booking reference and exact stay dates. I lost approximately €6,000, and although the hotel acknowledged the seriousness of the incident, after weeks of correspondence I was extremely disappointed by the lack of meaningful support and by the fact that responsibility was repeatedly redirected to Booking.com rather than any real effort being made to help resolve my loss.
