“Incredible Hospitality - No Sleep”
I have not a bad word to say about the staff and hospitality at the Flemings Mayfair. As advertised and thats why we stayed there. Every bite of food on premises was delicious. Tea was a treat. Location was central to everything. What was not advertised, and I blame myself for not doing better web reaearch is that their 2 bedroom Garden apartment is just above the Tube and unless you sleep like a dead person or are armed with more White and Brown noise than Brookstone you’re not going to sleep well until the trains stop. My daughter and i were simply exhausted by the end of the trip. Couple that with some incredibly uncomfortable (hard) mattresses and moldy stench in the master bathroom and we simply wont be back (design flaw in shower became obvious after 5 nights - def mold under flooring). Many thanks to the manager for the attempts to remedy some of these issues. Give the hotel a try but avoid the Garden Apt…….
