“An Amazing Anniversary Stay”

This hotel exceeded our expectations in almost every way. To begin with, the location is a short walk from train stations, which will take you to most destinations a tourist would want to see. While we didn't use them, both regular buses and hop-on/hop-off tour buses are within a few minutes' walk as well. It is a slightly further walk or train from a mall with a fairly large grocery store if you have random needs like forgetting an outlet converter or socks, or just want to try some random products. The free-to-access steam room, dry sauna, and indoor pool were an excellent way to end long days although they closed at 9pm which was a little early. The room's tub was also great after a long day in Sintra, as a taller man, it is a treat to actually fit in a tub with ease. The hotel was kind enough to provide champagne and chocolate-covered strawberries with an assortment of other berries on the plate as well since we informed them this was an anniversary trip.

A small annoyance, but the maids kept removing our key card from the power slot and then taking it as well. We ended up going through 6 key cards. I will say the staff did bring additional ones to our room on request, which made this less of an issue.

“Brilliant Experience with lovely team”

Excellent room with beautiful pool views. The staff were brilliant, friendly and very helpful throughout our stay. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the location was lovely and convenient. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and were impressed with the service and cleanliness.

The upstairs pool is quite small compared to the overall size of the hotel and can feel crowded at busy times. The bar prices are also quite expensive compared with the local cost of living. Room service could be improved, as the phone is not always answered when you call, and breakfast service can be quite slow, particularly when ordering something privately rather than from the buffet. Overall, these are areas where the hotel could improve the guest experience.
