How we compare the two prices. Same room, same dates, same cancellation terms. The standard rate is what that room costs on major booking platforms; the member rate is what you pay through The Travel Club. Both are per night for two guests, over a 1-night stay. Where are the quiet four-star hotels on Ibiza's east coast?

The coves between Cala Llonga and Es Canà are the sheltered side of Ibiza: shallow east-facing inlets, pine slopes and no strip. Cala Llonga itself has a single four-star property with both a pool and a gym, so the search realistically covers the run of coves around it.

  • Best in Cala Llonga itself: The Olive Boutique Suites & Spa
  • Best boutique above the beach: S'Argamassa Boutique Hotel
  • Best for a heated pool: Hotel Anfora Ibiza

What staying in Ibiza's east coast is actually like

Location
This stretch runs from Cala Llonga north through Santa Eulària to Es Canà and Cala Llenya — a series of sheltered coves rather than one long beach, each with its own small resort.
Dining
Each cove has a handful of restaurants and Santa Eulària's promenade is the fallback. Nothing here runs late.
Transit
25–35 minutes from Ibiza Airport. A car is genuinely useful — the coves are not connected to each other on foot.

Concierge notes

The Olive Boutique Suites & Spa

The one four-star in Cala Llonga itself: suites with kitchens, a sauna and yoga on site, steps from the cove.

Tip: Suites have full kitchens rather than kitchenettes — the reason people book it for a week rather than a weekend.

S'Argamassa Boutique Hotel

Small boutique property above S'Argamassa beach with a hot tub and treatment rooms off the pool terrace.

Tip: The terrace restaurant is the centre of the property; ask for a room on the sea side of it.

Hotel Anfora Ibiza

A hundred metres from Es Canar beach, with a heated pool — the only one on this coast that keeps working past September.

Tip: It offers courtesy rooms on checkout day, which matters on a late flight out of Ibiza.

Cala Llenya Resort Ibiza

Set at Cala Llenya, the quietest cove in this run, with a pool and gym and very little else around it.

Tip: There is a kids' club and karaoke on site — quiet cove, not a quiet hotel.

Invisa Hotel La Cala

Adults-oriented, near Santa Eulària beach, with a spa, sauna and gym behind the pool terrace.

Tip: Adults-oriented rather than strictly adults-only — confirm if a child-free stay is the point.

Frequently asked questions

Which is the quietest cove on this coast?

Cala Llenya, which has almost nothing built around it. Cala Llonga is next, and Es Canà is the busiest of the three.

How many four-star hotels does Cala Llonga have?

One with both a pool and a gym. The cove is small, which is exactly why people choose it — but it is also why this page covers the neighbouring coves.

Is the water calm here?

Yes. These are east-facing inlets, sheltered from the prevailing wind, with shallow entries — the reason the coast reads as family territory.
