Juan-les-Pins and the Belles Rives
Belles Rives sits directly on the water in Juan-les-Pins, the Cap's beach-town side — an Art Deco building that was F. Scott Fitzgerald's rented villa in the 1920s, now a beachfront hotel with a private jetty and water-ski school that claims to have invented the sport in France.
Antibes old town and the Picasso Museum
A short drive or walk from the Cap, Antibes' old town holds 16th-century ramparts, a daily Provençal market, and the Musée Picasso in the Château Grimaldi, where the artist worked for several months in 1946.

Juan-les-Pins jazz and the beach scene
Juan-les-Pins' beach has hosted an annual jazz festival since the 1960s, and the town's beach-bar scene runs later into the night than the quieter Cap side. The wooded peninsula itself — home to Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc's private cove — remains one of the Riviera's most secluded stretches of coastline.
