Location
Lloret sits at the southern, developed end of the Costa Brava, an hour up from Barcelona. It is a full resort town rather than a cove village, with the nightlife that implies.
Dining
Resort dining dominates the front. Tossa de Mar, ten minutes north along a cliff road, is the better evening.
Transit
Girona Airport is about 30 minutes, Barcelona about an hour. Buses run frequently; a car is optional here, unlike the coves further north.

Tip: It sits up in the woods rather than on the front — a shuttle or a car, and a very different Lloret.
