Our stay at this villa was unfortunately far below what was advertised on Booking.com. We chose this property based on its description, photos, and listed amenities, but many of them were either unavailable, broken, or in poor condition. The oven could not be used because the door would not open properly. The safes did not work despite being advertised, and although we informed the owner, nothing was done to fix them. A washing machine was listed as an amenity but was not available at all. The televisions had a constantly interrupted signal. We had planned to watch the Spain vs. Argentina football final together, but this was impossible because of the poor reception. Several other advertised facilities were also unusable. The pool shower did not work, no pool towels were provided, and the barbecue area was dirty, incomplete, and not fit for use. The frying pans were of such poor quality that cooking was difficult, and the dishwasher was far too small for a villa of this size. There were also a number of maintenance and safety issues. The automatic entrance gate did not work, while the exterior door occasionally opened by itself, creating a security concern. The main air-conditioning unit leaked water onto the floor near the staircase, creating a serious slipping hazard. The hairdryer on the second floor had an incompatible plug, making it unusable, and one of the large ceiling lights could not be switched on because its plug was damaged. One of the bedrooms was heavily infested with ants, and guests were bitten on the face, hands, and other parts of the body. Mosquitoes were also a major problem. The owner promised to provide mosquito repellents but never did. We reported several of these issues during our stay, but our messages were either ignored or the promised solutions were never provided. Overall, the property fell significantly short of its advertised standard.
