Location was good
When we arrived the entire place smelled like whatever they were cooking in the main house. The bed is a very old spring mattress that is like laying on the floor. To top it off the box spring is fully visible and has large stains on it. Scares to see what’s under the sheets. The pillows are worthless. As soon as you put your head on them they flatten to as thin as a sheet. There is no plug on the left side of the bed. It is behind the bed in the middle so to use it you have to pull the bed away from the wall and plug in your charger and hope it’s long enough to reach the night stand. The TV was a pain. When we finally got it working and logged into Prime Video they had the written language set to Hungarian and the sound set to Deutsche. Figuring that out was a blast. The light switches are all backwards and not labeled so just a fun game of guess and check. The bathroom “door” is a louvered bi fold door with slats. It’s too big to actually close and not anchored on a track. You get zero privacy if traveling with someone else. They definitely have a drain fly problem as there were many when we arrived and then even have an open trap for them in the bathroom. The AC situation is bizarre. There is a small window unit in the living/kitchen area. For the bedroom and bathroom there are ceiling vents that I would assume are controlled by the main house ac. The vent in the bathroom was closed. The window unit worked but on a hot summer day would definitely not cool the apartment so you just have to hope the people in the main house use the AC. In the winter? Hopefully they don’t like using the heat because you would boil. The fridge has an ice and water dispenser; they don’t work. They have one ice cube tray in the freezer. Hopefully you’re not traveling with other people as there will not be enough ice. The hot water and cold water on the kitchen sink is backwards. Laying in bed I could hear someone in the main house sneeze.
