Madrid is a very lively city, with a lot of noise into the early hours of the morning. Suite Prado is on a street with bars and restaurants but the sound proofing blocked all noise so I had a good night's sleep. I particularly liked the two balconies which I could open to enjoy the buzz of activity below! The room was spacious and comfortable, well furnished with good table and seating space. The kitchen unit was basic, but was good enough for preparing snacks. Having breakfast delivered to the room was a luxury! The location was perfect, once I found my way. The apartment was within walking distance of the major venues I wanted to visit. Many good places to eat nearby. I forgot to order breakfast for my last morning, but Elena phoned my room and had breakfast delivered. I left my favourite trousers in the room but when I came back later to collect my case, the trousers were with my suitcase - such good service. I will definitely stay here when I return to Madrid.

The bathroom was fine but needs to be upgraded to match the rest of the accommodation. It was a little worn and shabby compared to the rest of the apartment. The towel rail was very high on the wall and it was really difficult for me, a short woman, to hang up used towels.
