“Stay here if you're visiting Istanbul, what a gem.”
The staff were absolutely exceptional. We were amazed at how attentive they were across the board whether junior or manager. They were kind, helpful, informative, supportive, the concierge was excellent as well. The hotel itself was beautiful, the rooms and bathrooms were luxurious and comfortable. The ground floor bar was a wonderful pitstop before or after going out to dinner. The breakfast was fantastic.
The only thing is that it is located in the historical district in Sultanahmet and as a result, no regular taxis can come to the hotel doorstep between 10am and 8pm everyday. Specially booked private taxi's sometimes could, but this meant we had to walk every time we needed a taxi and also the pick up locations of the regular/uber/private taxi's were often on chaotic traffic filled roads. But this also meant the hotel's location was more pedestrian friendly and unique.
