“Prime Shopping Location and Delicious Dining, but Check-In Bedding Oversight”

We stayed 4 nights at the Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel, booking 3 rooms in total—one of which was the Renaissance Suite for myself, my spouse, and our 2 kids. Most of our time in Bangkok was spent outside exploring the city, and the hotel served as a great base. Dining: The breakfast provided a good variety of food with excellent quality. Both in-room dining and the hotel restaurant were consistently very good. Prime Location: One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its central location right in the middle of Bangkok's shopping district. Major shopping malls are within easy walking distance, and having the Skytrain / metro station located just outside makes getting around effortless.

Extra Bed Issue: Even though we booked more than 2 months ahead and explicitly requested 2 extra beds, upon check-in the hotel only provided one. We were told they were unable to provide the second extra bed for our first night as they were all in use. Luckily, the couch in our suite turned into a bed for one of the kids, but this was still an unexpected issue given our advance booking.
