Our second stay here. It is not the most modern, cool, trendy place to stay but it has everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing break away from downtown Malaga. Fantastic! Up the hill out of central Malaga its’ location allows the most wonderful views over the city-both old and new-and the coast. It’s hard to beat. It’s easy to walk down the hill from the neighbouring ‘castle’ (which can be visited) right into the old quarter to the bustling area of restaurants and shops. The restaurant food is good-but go down into Malaga to get local delights. Our comfortable, large room had a balcony, again overlooking Malaga. The staff are very friendly and attentive. A small pool area allows you to relax after walking back up the hill to the hotel. Free parking a bonus. This hotel has become one of our ‘must go to places’ on our drive to Portugal.
