We were very disappointed with the rooms we were initially given. They looked nothing like the photos on Booking.com. We had booked two standard double rooms but received one double room and one apartment, both of a much lower standard than expected. As soon as I saw the room, I went to reception to complain, but the response was unhelpful. The rooms felt more like basic holding cells than welcoming hotel rooms, with sparse furnishings and bars on the windows. To make matters worse, one of the rooms had no hot water. Fortunately, the next day we were able to change to two much nicer rooms. However, the original rooms were not worth the price we paid, and the huge gap between the advertised photos and reality was extremely disappointing.
