Comoda, pulitissima, la piscina fuori davvero salvavita

Все было на высоте. Дом оборудован всем необходимым. Все чисто и красиво. Два этажа. Две ванные комнаты. Кондиционеры в каждой комнате. Бассейн. Гриль. Пляж в 200-300 метрах. Класная набережная. Парковку можно найти в округе дома без проблем. В общем нам все очень понравилось.

A well-located, nice property - albeit missing some basics like curtains (the bedroom blinds don’t fully close so it’s never fully dark), a cleaning cloth, tissues, etc. Please note that the pool is shared with the house next door (read the small print).

The owner informed us - midway through our stay - that he would be bringing in a maintenance team to drain the pool, thereby not only disrupting our stay but also taking the pool out of action. When asked about this, he cited that “this maintenance was stated in the property description”. When pushed to show where he reluctantly admitted that he had sent that notification to AirBnB not Booking.com he also tried to offer us 10% off the next time we booked (something they already have on a notice in the house PROVIDED one books directly with them and not via Booking.Com). This was increased to 15% - but after that sort of treatment and gaslighting, we wouldn’t stay there again. The pool drainage was delayed until 9.30pm that night. However, the whole thing left a bad taste. In truth, there are other and better properties out there with less mercenary hosts.
