Loved the location of the hotel. Walking distance from shopping center (banks, supermarket, ice cream shop, cloths shop, etc...), a food district/court, and little local vendors. Lots of local activities really close by if you like an immersive trip instead of the overly touristic areas. Also the price was very reasonable.
The online photos are a bit misleading. I was disappointed by the current condition of the property, as it didn't match the expectations set by the pictures. Overall cleanliness could also be improved. The customer service was somewhat nonchalant. Not unfriendly, but not particularly welcoming either. The pool appeared to have no active water circulation or filtration. The water was cloudy and uninviting, which made it difficult to enjoy. During my stay, I found one cockroach in my room as well as a few ants. Having grown up in the Caribbean, I understand that insects can occasionally be part of the environment, so this wasn't shocking to me. However, it was still disappointing, especially considering the impression created by the hotel's online photos.
