The Magnaura Palace Hotel

“Amazing Location”

The hotel is in the heart of Sulthanahmet, within a short walking distance to Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Topkapi Palace, Grand Bazaar, Cagaloglu Hammam and many top restaurants. The rooftop restaurant offers sweeping views of the Blue Mosque the Bosporus and the Asian side. There is a very good breakfast buffet. The elevator works fine. Our room on the fourth floor had a terrace with a partial view of the Bosporus and a retractable awning, which was handy because it was very sunny and hot during our visit. The staff, in general were very friendly and helpful. We used them to arrange our airport transfers.

My partner has mobility issues so we take Uber sometimes. Due to the limited traffic in the old city Uber couldn't pick up at the hotel. We had to walk to the corner and down a block for the pickup.

L'ho scelto soprattutto in base alle recensioni relative alla pulizia - ed è davvero ottima - ma ho apprezzato anche le stanze ampie, tutte con comodo terrazzino e i materassi che sembrano nuovi, la terrazza per la colazione, la posizione comodissima (centralissima ma tranquilla), la gentilezza e il sorriso di tutto lo staff. Un hotel che consiglierei e dove ritornare.
