“Friendly, Helpful Reception and a Great Location!”

We recently stayed at the Cura as part of a longer trip to the UK. The front desk staff were very helpful and attentive to our needs as we arrived early and (after a few lovely days) had a late flight out. The location was fabulous... just a short walk to the Earl's Court Underground station and walking distance to many of the major department stores and museums. We were close enough to the touristy bits that we could get there easily, but just far enough out that there were local folks at the pubs and restaurants in the neighbourhood, too. A special thank you to the hotel for the nice little treat that appeared in our room on our Wedding Anniversary evening!

“A Comfortable Base for Exploring London”

We had a good stay at Cura Hotel Kensington and found it to be a convenient and comfortable option for visiting London. The location was a definite highlight — it’s within walking distance of the Tube station, making it easy to get around the city and reach the major sights without much hassle. There are also plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafés in the surrounding area. Our room was clean, charming, and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. The hotel has a nice character to it, and it was a pleasant place to come back to after a busy day exploring London. The staff were helpful and friendly, and we appreciated how accommodating they were whenever we needed assistance. Overall, it was a solid stay with a convenient location, clean rooms, and helpful service. A good option if you’re looking for somewhere comfortable and well-connected while visiting London.

De locatie en van het personeel waren Zorro en Connerly (ik denk niet dat ik de naam goed schrijf) ontzettend aardig en deden alles om het ons naar de zin te maken, nadat wij in eerste instantie een hele kleine kamer hadden gekregen.

Het hotel is gerenoveerd, wij kwamen hier voor de 5e keer, en kregen in eerste instantie een hele kleine kamer, waar het bed tegen de muur stond, wat ook niet anders ging vanwege de beperkte ruimte, maar waardoor je als je ‘s-nacht van de badkamer gebruik moest maken over elkaar heen moest kruipen, totaal belachelijk. Verder is degene die het interieur heeft bedacht totaal voorbij gegaan aan de praktische kant van een hotelkamer. In de badkamer was amper ruimte om je spullen neer te zetten en mijn electrische tandenborstel is van de 5 dagen 4x op de grond gevallen vanwege het gebrek aan ruimte. Ook is er weinig gelegenheid om je kleding en andere spullen kwijt te kunnen. We hadden een flinke prijs voor deze kamer betaald, en nadat ik ter plekke op de website had gekeken waar ik ook zag dat er wel ‘normale’ kamers voor een lagere prijs waren, dus wij voelden ons toch een beetje ‘belazerd’. Maar Connerly en Zorro zorgden ervoor dat we een andere kamer kregen, we mochten uit 3 kamers kiezen, dus dat was top. Verder viel het ontbijt tegen. In de eerste 2 jaar was het echt geweldig, maar het assortiment wordt steeds minder, in ieder geval van het continentale ontbijt.
