“We had a good holiday but Villa fell well below other villas we have hired for a similar price.”

This villa is for two adults and four children in my opinion. The four single beds are only suitable for children. The air con wasn’t switched on when we arrived at the villa so it was extremely hot. We couldn’t switch the air con on in the lounge until we bought batteries for the hand set. When the host changed the towels mid week during our stay she switched the air con off in the lounge in front of us and then went into all of the bedrooms and switched the air con units off despite it being 35 degrees C outside! The villa had an infestation of ants and we purchased ant traps to alleviate the situation. The dishwasher didn’t clean properly and often didn’t dissolve the tablet. The cooker thermostat needs checking. It had to be put on the maximum setting to heat up food! The swimming pool is not suitable for children as there is no shallow end and the only entry is by a metal vertical ladder. You would need to be over six foot to touch the bottom. Beware there is artificial grass leading to the swimming pool. The kitchen is not as well equipped as others villas we have rented. For example only one sharp knife, no baking trays, no jug and just one large bowl for salad which we scrubbed clean. This villa is advertised for 6 people but there is only seating for 4 people in the lounge and at the kitchen table. We told the owner we were leaving at 11. We went out for an early breakfast and came back to finish packing to find the owner and cleaner already in the villa. There was no information left in the villa about emergency numbers, recommendations for restaurants, beaches etc and no directions to anywhere! Not even a map. Finally it is absolutely essential to have a car if you stay in this villa. You cannot walk to a supermarket, beach or restaurant.
